The Senate
What is it?
The Senate is the government body of the Imperial Roman Empire. The Senate's Job is to help create the decisons of the clan's current and future decison making and affairs. The Senate only chooses those that have commited an exemplary amount of service to the clan and giving many benefits.*
* The rank at minimum to join is Legionnary since you are an offical member of the clan.
The Senate is made up of 25% of the total clan members. All officers and leaders MUST
be on the Senate and are referred to as Senior Senators. The rest of the Senate
is made up of members (any rank except Tiro to Accensus Grade 5) voted onto the Senate by the
Senators already on it. All other members, not a Centurian or Higher, are Junior Senators. The Senate
meets weekly unless attendance is less then the minimum required or there is
little to discuss. The Senate makes all rules, laws, and regulations for the
clan and approves changes.

Rules of the Senate
-No more then six (6) topics per person unless Senior Senator overrides
-Senator can vote on their own topic
-Meetings held on an evening during the Weekend unless it is an emergency
-Minimum of five (5) to hold a Bureau meeting
-Senate cannot vote Senior Senator off the Bureau
-Senior Senators have veto power over votes with 3/4 of Senior Senators vetoing
-Junior Senators can override veto with 2/3 majority vote
-Senator can vote on their own topic
-Meetings held on an evening during the Weekend unless it is an emergency
-Minimum of five (5) to hold a Bureau meeting
